I grew up in a household with a father who is a custom woodworker. Him and his work peaked my curiosity and inspired me to branch out into other mediums of work.

For this project, I stained wood using natural extracts like indigo, lac, chestnut, sappanwood, pomegranate and many more. Using these natural extracts to stain wood means there are less toxic chemicals in the pieces compared to the industry wide stains and paints that are used.
